Everything kept, why it is kept, how long it stays, and how to take it back. The short version: an email address, your progress, and nothing sold to anyone.
The short version
No advertising. No advertising network. No tracking of you across other websites. Nothing sold or rented to anybody, ever.
What is kept is what the game needs to be the same game tomorrow: who you are, what you have paid for, and how you are doing.
What is kept, and why
Your email address — so your open days, your rank, your kit and your plan follow you to any device. It is the account; there is nothing else to sign in with.
Your country, and a first name if you give one — so an opponent sees who they are playing.
Your progress — rank, frames won and lost, which lessons and drills you have done and your best scores, and which table, cue and cube you have chosen.
Your clock — the day your device first opened the game, how many minutes of match time you have used today, and when any plan you hold ends.
A Game ID and a device signature — a random identifier stored on the device, and a rough fingerprint of it (screen size, processor count, time zone, how it draws text). This exists for one reason: so the 72 free hours cannot be restarted again and again by clearing the browser. It is never used to follow you anywhere else and never leaves our own service.
Chat messages during an online frame — kept briefly so abuse can be dealt with, then dropped.
What is never kept
No card details. Payment is taken on our checkout by a payment provider. We are told that a payment succeeded and what it bought. We never see or store a card number.
No password — there is none.
No address, no phone number, no date of birth, no photograph.
No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, no social-network pixels, no cookies for advertising.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Your account and your progress are kept for as long as the account exists. Ask for it to be deleted and it goes.
The per-day record of match minutes is kept for a short period so the clock works across time zones, and then only as a total.
The Game ID and device signature are kept on the device and against the account for as long as the free-window check needs them.
Records of payments are kept as long as tax and accounting law in France requires, which is longer than the rest, and we cannot delete those earlier.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything held about you, ask for anything wrong to be corrected, ask for it all to be deleted, or ask us to stop using it. Write from the address on your account.
Deleting your account removes your address, your name, your country, your progress, your rank and your kit. It does not remove the payment records the law requires us to keep, and it does not reopen the 72 free hours.
We answer within a month. If we cannot do what you asked, we will say why.
If you are in the European Union and you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In France that is the CNIL.
Children
The game is not built for young children and we do not knowingly keep an account for one. If you believe a child has made an account, tell us and it will be removed.
Cookies and what the browser keeps
The game stores things on your own device so it works offline and remembers where you were: your settings, the frame in progress, your chosen kit, and the Game ID described above. These are kept by your browser, on your device, and are not sent anywhere except as described here.
There are no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.
Changes
If what we keep or why we keep it changes, this page changes with it and you will be told inside the game before it takes effect.
